Use the Password Security feature to password protect your documents with powerful encryption levels such as 40-bit RC4, 128-bit RC4, 128-bit AES, and 256-bit AES. This will prompt users to input a password in order to open the document.
Use the Secure Permissions feature to restrict permissions by choosing the specific changes other users can or cannot make to your document (i.e., commenting, filling in forms, inserting pages, printing, etc.). This will prompt users to input a password if they wish to change the permission levels.
Create personalized signature appearances with the Create Appearance feature.
Create new digital certificates with the Create Certificate feature. Customize the duration, key algorithm (1024-bit RSA or 2048-bit RSA) and storage type (Windows or PKCS12)
Use the Sign Document feature to approve documents using the signature appearance and legally binding digital certificate of your choice. You can add multiple signatures to a PDF file (co-signing), and you can also remove signatures to make modifications
Use the Create button to select the area of your document you wish to black out permanently.
Use the Apply button to lock in the changes you wish to make. This action is irreversible.
